"The Belgian Ardennes is one of my favorite hiking areas. Every season this area looks different. There are hikes for both the beginning and the experienced hiker. Anyone who loves a wonderful nature and a beautiful landscape cannot skip this area and should hike here in the different seasons."
With over 6000 km over marked and outlined hiking routes, Belgium has the most dense network of hiking paths in Europe, of which the Ardennes are particularly suitable to hike. Long hikes, on your own or accompanied, complete discovery trips and multi-day trips, anything is possible. At the camping, hiking maps are sold which can tie up your entire holiday. You can make trips of full day or half a day with an official guide of the Office du Tourisme de Spa. Or you can choose a complete discovery trip through Spa and the Ardennes or even through Spa-Theux, the region of Franchimont. The Hoge Venen are very suitable for extensive hikes with or without a guide.
